Duct Tape Flower Pen

Hi everyone! I've resumed my crafting life with the duct taping system. It's actually become a big habit for me. However, my homework system  hasn't lately been the best, and staying up late for those art projects take me away for my blogging life. However, recently, during one of my everwasting after school hours, I was given the opportunity to make a flower pen. The steps are incredibly simple, and I roughly made one on my first try... /Here's a picture for your eye intrests:
The truth of the mechanics are actually very simple. All you do is take the designs of duct tape you want, a pen, and a few minutes of your time.
To begin, take 5 strips of 3" taape from each material. ( divide if you choose to use only on or two types of duct tape) Then, stick it on a flat non stick surface. Then, horizantily, flod each piece to form a triangle at the top. ( Similar to folding an air plane) Continue until you are done. Then wrap one of your smallest pieces around on your pen. Repeat this step. With a bigger piece, repeat this step again, however, this time, leave a little sace to stick your finger in to gve the illusion of a blooming rose.
Thanks for reading, have a nice day and once again, pllease comment!

LOVE THIS ONE! Black and white is just so practical! Great on almost all plain white faces with some blue flowers pinned on surface!
Words! They are not quite legible, but are  really fun to use along with a bunch of different themes!
Lightish oceans... What a calming page!
All of these designs are super cool. A bit pricey, but perfect for the crafting girl! Can be found at WalMart and Michael's.

Offray Ribbon

OMG! I love ribbon. There's so much, so useful, and so fun! I use ribbon in almost all of my projects! This is MAINLY because of the cool reality effect it has on everything! Brown is a really vivid color, and goes great with almost everything. If it's too big, I sometimes fold it, but otherwise... It's perfect. Ribbon is also great for making bows, a perfect touch up to gifts, card, and hair accessories.

Same  goes for blue. Brown and blue really go together, and can make super cool flowers and patterns for anything! These sell at WalMart for about a $1 each.

HandMade Father's Day Card

"Father's day could never be as big, as a mini, hand made, hand cut, Google copied, hand drawn, Father's Day Card."
 I for one, agree.
This card was completely hand-made, the brown and blue paper was construction paper, while the multi-colored ribbon was hand-cut with paper from 5$ Bok ScrabBooks, and white, printing paper. The font was one I snapped of on www.scrapbook.com and copied at my desk from my camera phone. Yep, completely hand-drawn and cut. The way I cut it was really what surprised me. The font on my phone looked practically identical, although because of the thinness, the curve on the a  became slanted. I finally gathered to the courage to order a Silhouette, so that will no longer be a problem. I'll release a craft video on using it ASAP. For those not familiar with this device, it's a perfect cutting, printing paper friendly, non ink requiring machine that's 180$ with the advertised Promo Code on one of my posts. Crossing my fingers for it to come!!!!!!!
P.S Pretty much every Wed. and Fri. , I'll be posting, sometimes Mon. too, but depending on circumstances. A few of the first ones will be CRAFT VIDEOS...

Google Inspiring Cards/Thank You

Light dawns upon a window sill, symbolizing morning. A young, innocent child quietly finishes a sentence on a foldable piece of paper in her best handwriting and hides it behind her back. On the calendar, the days are marked up to a special day. Silently climbing down the stairs, the girl spies her mother tiredly sipping coffee from a white glass mug. Her mother notices her and smiles warmly. "Why are you awake so early?" she asks, parting the cup from her lips. The girl grins shyly, stepping up closer to her mother," Well, I wanted to give you this." The girl hands her mother a white flower embroidered, pink framed card. Her mother opens it. Scanning the writing, she grins, barely containing her overflowing happiness. The girl quickly lands on her mother's comforting lap. Hugging her tightly, she whispers, "Happy Mother's Day Mommy, thankyou!"

Random story involving this card, cool eh? Any who, I LOV this card. Not love, LOV. Clearly you can see the entire layout of this card, perhaps making it necessary to use a white journalism pen or flower shaped stamp for the flowers. I just wanted to share this adorable card, available to copy and paste on your printer, to make a card. Please comment!

Cards From Google/Missing U

The soft rustling of grass. The secret giggles of children. And the freshness in the air. All come from home. Whether it's from far away, or close by, home remembers you. And misses you.

This adorable, Missing U card is a great inspiration for family and friends. Although there are tough times, this card shows happier ones, also expressing how home has been brought to you. Perhaps this was not the ideal idea from whoever made this card, but everyone has a different perspective. If I were to recreate this card, I maybe would've have chosen a different color theme. A lightish blue in exchange for the pink. The white bricks glued against the paper was a clever idea, if I felt like doing it, I could use a pencil and loosely trace brick squares and then lightly go over with a gray pastel. Once I'd completed that part, I'd layer it with dots. Doing the white alone would be fine, but the bricks and punctures give it a realistic twist. For the bicycle, I'll probably be lazy and not cut out the insides. Cardstalk is a good idea for the pop ups and flowers. To pop up the bicycle, I'd fold back a small piece of tape to form a circle, then attach it to the bicycle.Same goes for the shade. The window will just be a piece of paper or fabric, glued to the entire frame.
Thanks for reading! Stay crafting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
